How will the information you give be used
The Data Controller (DC) will only use your information on the basis that it is necessary for insurance and risk management purposes. Where the DC needs to pass information to other firms, it will only be for that purpose. Your information will be processed by Griffiths & Armour who have developed and own the RMworks. Should Griffiths & Armour contact you, it will only be in connection with the above reason.
If the DC have to transfer/store information to a third country outside of the United Kingdom (UK) and/or the European Economic Area (EEA), they will only do so if a similar level of protection applies. If the DC needs to obtain information which is by nature sensitive, they will only do so on the basis that it is in the public interest – for example to fight crime, prevent fraud or to make sure insurance is available.
Griffiths & Armour and the DC will use this information:
- To administer the site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
- To improve the site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of the service, when you choose to do so;

What type of personal information is needed?
- The DC may need personal details which might include: name; age; telephone number; email address; information relevant to their insurance claims history.
- The DC will only collect what is necessary and will only keep it for twelve years after their relationship with Griffiths & Armour has ended.

Where the system is used in the administration of claims, the DC may also provide details of the claims and any personal details that are necessarily required.

- You can obtain a copy of your personal information from the DC without charge by contacting the DC at the address above. This may include the right to transfer information to other providers.
- You have the right to ask the DC to correct information.
- You have the right to ask the DC to delete your information or stop using it, unless it is necessary for the DC to retain it for insurance or financial purposes as set out in their document retention policy.
- You may have the right to object if decisions about you are made solely by a computer.
